The Miami Valley Building Officials Council has served the West Central Ohio region since 1957.
Education and Training
MVBOC offers its' members various Building Code related training.
Homes for our Troops
MVBOC has participated in many community events like Home for our Troops, Christmas in Action and Habitat for Humanity.
If you see a new building being built in the Miami Valley, you can rest assured it conforms to all the construction codes - thanks to MVBOC.
The MVBOC August outing will be Tuesday, August 29th at the Montgomery County Environmental Learning Facility, located at 2500 Sandridge Drive, Moraine, Ohio 45439.
The seminar is: “Fire-resistive Construction” with “UL”, presenter Rich Walke. Course number: BBS2017-236, 3hrs. credit for BO, MPE, BI, MI, ESI, FPI
Sign-in starts at 8:30am, seminar is 9:00am to 12:00pm. McAllister’s Deli will deliver the Boxes Lunches at 12:00 noon - then a tour of the facility.
Costs is free to MVBOC members and $50.00 to non-members.

Fo those who signed up for BBS mandatory classes at the Montgomery County location, here is a link to a map to the Montgomery County building in Dayton. Parking is in the public garage on the north side of the building, accessed off of Second Street to the north, or off Vista View, to the west. Users will be charged $8.00 to park there.
Once parked, take the connector walkway to our Admin Building, and then go down either via escalator or elevator to the Lower Level “LL” where the auditorium is located.
If participants want to leave the garage they can ask the garage cashier for an free in-out pass and will not be charged more than the $8.00 daily rate.
